This past summer, I was traveling in Israel on a teen tour for six weeks. My first few nights, I had trouble falling asleep due to the time change. Around the third night I remembered that I had all of the Bedtime Beats tracks loaded onto my iPhone. That night I put on Bedtime Beats at bedtime, and I fell asleep almost instantaneously. For the rest of the summer, during any night I couldn’t sleep, I used Bedtime Beats and I was able to fall asleep right away and keep through the night. So many of my friends on the trip would aks me what I was listening to each night that would make me conk out, so I told them about the music. They all begged me to try it. On the bus, traveling, I would share a headphone with the person next to me and we wound up fast asleep beside each other.

Thank you Bedtime Beats for restoring some sense of calm and structure to our nighttime routine at home. After a tumultuous year of various ear, nose and throat issues with my baby, our infant appropriate sleep routine quickly dissipated in an effort to keep her comfortable (never mind asleep!). Now that she is older and healthier, we are on track for a better quality of sleep, but that means we’ve also had to start from “day one” relative to organizing a rhythm and routine for nighttime. My doctors in LA and NY said to not make such a big effort sleep training the baby and that she would sleep through the night when she turns three (or four!).
